This is our final newsletter for 2025. Thank you to our families for their ongoing support to the school and their children. When we work together, we see the very best outcomes for our students.
Thank you to all our families that attended our awards day last Thursday, once again it was a very successful event for Hampden P-12 School. We had many well deserving award winners that all accepted their awards with humility and excitement. Choosing award winners amongst a group of such amazing students is not an easy task and not a decision made easily.
I would like to thank our long serving sponsors of these awards, many come with very generous donations that are very appreciated by the students. Our sponsors have been sponsoring us for many years, and we appreciate their ongoing support, without you this day would be impossible.
A big thank you to all the staff at Hampden P-12 School, you would have to go a long way to find more dedicated staff group. They go above and beyond for our students always thinking outside the square to support our students to be the best version of themselves.
Last but certainly not least is our amazing students, you really are the best. I admire your resilience, your humour and your bright personalities. There is certainly never a dull moment at our school and there is nothing I enjoy more than watching you grow and flourish.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings?
Take care

Our Middle Years students represented our school with pride, sportsmanship and determination at the Interschool Athletics Day held at Brauerander Park in Warrnambool. Their participation, teamwork and positive attitude were outstanding throughout the event.
Recently, our Middle Years students took part in the annual Interschool Athletics Day at Brauerander Park in Warrnambool, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. From the moment they arrived, students displayed our school values—showing respect, teamwork, kindness, being safe and giving their very best in every event.
Throughout the day, students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of track and field events, demonstrating determination, resilience and fantastic team spirit. Whether they were sprinting down the track, giving their all in long jump, or cheering on their classmates from the sidelines, their positivity and encouragement stood out.
Our students represented the school exceptionally well, both in behaviour and performance. Staff from other schools commented on their sportsmanship, cooperation and the way they supported one another. It was wonderful to see everyone having a go, challenging themselves, and celebrating each other’s achievements.
A big congratulations to all our Middle Years students for making the day such a success. You truly showcased what it means to be confident, respectful and responsible. We look forward to seeing this enthusiasm continue in future sporting events!

Congratulations to everyone for a great year in the art room!
I look forward to working with you all again in 2026.
