IT IS GO, GO, GO AT TERANG.

On Thursday the 21st of August, our Inquiry students were lucky enough to have a guided tour of Pearson’s Nursery in Allansford. This was the culmination of a ‘Sensory garden’ unit and really bought into focus how many plants there are that ignite all the senses.

At the end of the tour, all students were given a small plant to take home.

A big thank you to Pearson’s Nursery for the welcome they gave us and the knowledge they shared.

Also a fabulous thumbs up to our students who were all on their best behaviour.

Don’t forget: This Friday the 5th of September is a special morning to celebrate Father’s Day. As it is with all ‘special’ days we invite anyone with a significant figure in their lives to come and celebrate with their child.

The celebration begins at 9.30 and ends at 11am.

Camp Coorimungle

Camp is fast approaching!   A packing list will be sent out early next week. It will be all inclusive so if your child is not staying the night please disregard items such as sleeping bag and toiletries.

Can all forms be sent back ASAP.

Regarding medication: This needs to be packaged into Webster packs available from your chemist. Webster packs can be sent in from tomorrow. This assists us to organise medication before camp begins.

All contributors will go into the draw for a $50 Voucher at your favorite store.

2025 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey:

WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.

Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025.

All families are invited to participate in the survey.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents / caregivers / guardians who speak a language other than English at home. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, or the school directly for survey guides in your language.

survey results will be communicated to parents / caregivers / guardians through the newsletter. Last year we used the survey results to plan for the future goals of the school.
