Thank you to all parents that attended SSG meetings on Monday to discuss the new goals with your child’s teacher and to contribute to refining the goals. Setting goals and adjustments is a joint effort from the school and families to ensure the goals are meeting the needs of our students.

This term is a short 9 week term and the calendar is filling up fast. Please make sure you are checking the newsletter for upcoming dates and events. We have Book Week activities, African drumming, The Colour Run, Camp and Father’s Day celebration just to name a few of the planned celebrations.

Staff are currently undertaking the Staff Survey which will give us an overview of the culture of wellbeing and learning at Hampden. The survey results from the student, staff and parent survey all contribute to our AIP goals and actions.

Childsafe policies continue to be a focus for our school with a continued specific focus on cyber safety, this includes all platforms and knowing what to do when something goes wrong.

The students are doing a fantastic job and we look forward to this continued effort with their learning and wellbeing.

There’s a lot of exciting events coming up in term three!

Book Week activities are happening in week five, as well as an exciting exhibition in collaboration with our local shire.
