Principal Report

Welcome back to everyone for term 3, I hope you have all had a relaxing break with a few treats along the way.

Term 3 is always a busy and exciting term; this is the term we often see students consolidate their learning with many ‘lightbulb’ moments.

We also have some camps taking place in term 3 which the students always love. We have book week coming on Tuesday 19th August with celebrations happening at Terang for our whole school. This will be followed by an incursion of African drumming for our whole school on Friday August 22nd. Buses will leave from Cobden on this day, families effected timewise will be contacted.

We would like to thank all our families for valuing education; we have strong attendance rates at both campuses. We have been asked to present our policies and procedures for our high attendance rates at the principal network meeting in Warrnambool; however the real thanks and accolades should go to our parents who consistently send their children to school each and every day. We are very proud of the strong attendance we have of our students at school.

We look forward to a great term 3.

Take care

Kylie Carter
