The term has certainly flown by with reports going home today, students have demonstrated growth against their goals and the curriculum. We have implemented a new literacy assessment this semester that has been effective in supporting us to support students with their learning.
Many students have participated successfully in work experience and will continue with some work placements. The Cobden campus students are focusing on applying their learning for being safe on the internet and when using gaming and social platforms. They recently participated in Project Rockit which was very informative for our students and staff. We learned about special settings that can be applied to protect ourselves against predatory behaviour.
Our Terang students are enjoying their Thursday program where half the students horse ride and the half go to swimming lessons. A small group of students each week attend lunch at the local bistro to work on their social skills.
We wish everyone a warm and safe holiday over the school holiday period which begins on the 4th July with a 2pm finish.
Take care,
Kylie Carter

Middle Years students have been working on sculptures, made by grouping a series of objects together and painting them black. They will join their individual sculptures together to create a larger, collaborative work. I can’t wait to see it complete!
