What a great turnout we had for our Father’s Day BBQ and activities last Friday, thank you to all the father’s that made a huge effort to attend our day, one even travelling from as far as Bendigo to attend! The children were so excited to have dad at school helping them do their work and sharing their lunch.
Dan Petro, our behaviour therapist will be visiting the school again on Friday, he has been working with teachers to build their capacity for working with our students through a positive lens. His methods are around building confidence and using positive, consistent language, this also aligns with the Real Schools strategies that the school engages with. Along with our first year of training with School Wide Positive Behaviour Schools, these programs all work together to support our students and staff to build a positive school culture across our school community.
We have lots of exciting events coming up to look forward to, with the concert next Wednesday evening and the Presentation Ball in term 4. The students are practicing hard and looking forward to being concert stars.
Have a great weekend?
Thank you
Take care

Geraldine’s class have created portraits based on inspirational people. They all did a fabulous job on this task and have chosen a diverse range of people to represent.
Well done to everyone on a great effort!
Last Friday the 30th of August, Middle Years invited their dads, grandads, significant male figures or other special people to come to school to celebrate Father’s Day/Special Person’s Day.
During this time, these people were invited into the classroom to work together creating, building and painting some special gifts together for Father’s Day/Special Person’s Day. Students and their guests had a wonderful time and it was great seeing everyone working together and enjoying each other’s company. Afterwards, all were invited to come together for a BBQ and some time to catch up with other families and friends that attended this day.
