Welcome back to our students and families, I hope you have all had a much-deserved break and enjoyed the sun when it decided to shine.
The termly calendar is already filling quickly with sports, excursions and learning. This year we have engaged the professional knowledge of Dan Petro who will be visiting our school during six sessions over the year. Dan has a primary focus on supporting student behaviour and will participate in classroom observations and provide feedback for staff on implementing individual programs for students. The first of the sessions will kick off next Wednesday with Dan visiting both our Terang and Cobden campus. This will be followed up by a whole day of Professional learning with Dan Petro on Friday at Deakin University with other network schools. Next Friday 16th February is a student free day.
Our school review will take place this term over a 4 day period, this process includes a validation day, 2 field days and final day. The review will look at the school’s processors, curriculum, celebrations, success and areas for improvement over the next 4 year period. During the field days parents will be invited to come to the school and speak with the panel regarding your input about the school.
Our SSG meetings will take place in week 6, March 4th, please look out to book your parent/teacher/student meetings on Xuno.
We look forward to a year of fun and learning.
Take care
Kylie Carter

Middle Years students will be participating in a new cooking program every Wednesday throughout term one. Students will have the opportunity to plan, shop, cook and enjoy a meal together.
